@pschofie79 I think this is true, actually. People feel a pressure to finish books they start, which means they'll struggle to slog through something they hate or just quit reading altogether when it's unenjoyable rather than simply quit books they don't like and pick up new ones

I have said this many times, but people need to understand that the government is creating confusion over trans people's legal status on purpose. They know that in the absence of clear legal guidance, schools/hospitals/cops/etc will default to being ultra-transphobic out of fear
