My bill doesn't just rubber-stamp a ballroom. It creates a permanent process: any White House addition must be approved by the Oversight Committee chair and the National Capital Planning Commission chair. Private funding only. No blank checks.

The Senate unanimously passed the DHS funding bill on March 27. Speaker Johnson chose to needlessly prolong a wasteful government shutdown for more than a month, only to pass the bill the Senate sent over in March. Americans deserve better than Congressional Republicans' antics.

When gas prices went up 250% because of Democrat policies under Joe Biden, was that a step in the wrong direction or was it progress toward the goal of reducing dependence on fossil fuels. I'd think you guys would be happy to see price increases return, even for a short while, which this will be.

We’ve got to be focused on the needs of working families like health care and housing, and not on the political games here in Washington.

Right, because voters shouldn't have to prove who they are, never mind that they're citizens or otherwise eligible to vote (which is in the NH Constitution, by the way) and parties should get to pick their voters by rigging districts instead of voters choosing their elected officials.

Yesterday's Supreme Court ruling is just the latest attack in a broad Republican assault on our voting rights—in New Hampshire and across the country.

Screens are just plain bad for kids. Read to them. Give them blocks and toys and things they can interact with. Play with them. Stop with the screens!
