Why teachers leave. From FB. We have just received an email that says that next Thursday afternoon a member of SLT are going to join our PPA session as part of monitoring on planning and preparation. This seems crazy to me! Has anyone else been ‘monitored’ during PPA?

Please watch #MrBatesVsThePostOffice It is almost impossible to believe this has happened and that IT CONTINUES. Hundreds of sub postmasters wrongly accused of fraud, many jailed, hundreds still need their convictions squashed.. They had done nothing wrong. The Horizon computer system introduced by the Post Office was completely at fault 😡

Folks: no one is required to have a maths GCSE to become a teacher. There are GCSE equivalency tests that can be booked online and taken online or in-person. They can be re-sat if needed. Dates are readily available (often in the same week).

Attendance from Two Sides During 12 years of headship, in two different schools, managing pupils' attendance was always a priority. Improving attendance was often on our school development plans. In our school prospectus, I said things like "Every day is unmissable!". 1/10

I am afraid to tell you that my dear, lovely Nell died last night. She was diagnosed with cancer in June ( which is why she barely appeared on tv) and went rapidly downhill in the past few weeks. She is buried in the garden next to Nigel.
