Took a short break from energy and spent last week in Rome. Meet the Cardinal running the Vatican before a new pope gets elected 👉🏻 wsj.com/world/europe/t…

Great to speak to @WSJ in this recent interview. My points in brief: ➡️ Europe must free itself of russian gas completely. #LNG is key in this and @dtek_group is ready to play its part. We hope to announce LNG deals soon after our first shipment in late 2024. ➡️ Our immediate priority is to restore power stations but are also building new generation and storage in Ukraine and beyond to keep the country connected. ➡️ To rebuild Ukraine, we must do everything possible to become a magnet for foreign investment. Despite the war, investors are beginning to recognise the opportunity Ukraine represents. Thank you to @GiuliaPetroni and the Wall Street Journal. “Evan is free and on his way home.” @WSJ reporter Evan Gershkovich was released in a multilateral prisoner exchange in Ankara, Turkey, earlier today after 491 days of wrongful detention in Russia. Evan has missed so much in the 434 days he’s been sitting in a Russian prison, locked up for being a reporter. Last weekend, he missed his college reunion. Fellow alumni stood with Evan, as we do every day. He cannot be released soon enough.⁦@BowdoinCollege#IStandWithEvan

Earlier today, a Moscow court rejected an appeal by Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich against his detention, meaning he will remain behind bars until at least June 30. Read @WSJ's full statement here: #IStandWithEvan dowjones.com/press-room/apr…

56 weeks ago today, Russia wrongly detained my friend and @WSJ colleague Evan Gershkovich for being nothing more than a journalist (and great one at that). Hope lives on. The fight to free Evan lives on. And it will continue until he is back with us. #FreeEvan #IStandWithEvan

It’s been a year since WSJ reporter Evan Gershkovich was seized by Russia’s security services and falsely accused of espionage. It’s time for this talented journalist and innocent man to come home. My letter on this grim anniversary #IStandWithEvan wsj.com/world/evan-ger…
