This model's urgency stems from a critical analysis of global financial dependencies that render the region susceptible to external economic shocks and policy changes. Transitioning towards indigenous resource pools is a strategic move to shield the region's development agenda from such volatilities, ensuring a self-sustained and resilient growth trajectory.
