As pressure mounts on us to do more with less, the conversation around sustainable financing is an existential priority. Philanthropy is being called to move beyond project-based giving and explore adaptive, community-rooted capital strategies that hold over time. This masterclass was born from that urgency — to 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐬, 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨-𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 that are bold, catalytic, and owned.✨✨
We are deeply grateful to @TrustAfrica and @TheResAlliance— two institutions that continue to stretch the edges of what’s possible. Convening and leading this experience speaks to their foresight and institutional courage to move beyond critique into collective experimentation. This is a signal that capital must evolve, and that those closest to the work must have a hand in shaping how it flows.🌟🌟
And this is just a glimpse of the many power-packed activities unfolding at the 𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞.
