@RestTarRr I just personally don't see it as a healthy kind of love. Where someone purposefully rips away the other's future for their own desires. That doesn't sound like love to me. That sounds manipulative. Of course, this is just my opinion on the matter. No disrespect to you or yours!

@RestTarRr Imo, it's odd how they barely knew each other and she "fell in love". Also the fact he was the ONLY human she could interact with. And how she clearly wanted space and to be alone, he went onto the intercom to speak with her to FORCE a conversation she wasn't ready for.

@ashleysbored for some people it actually is "if I don't wash my hands all my family will die" depending on how much magical thinking you have.

People's characterization of OCD compulsions are "if I don't wash my hands all my family will die" which sounds ridiculous. It's actually "there's a chance I came into contact with e. coli and if I don't wash my hands I will spread it all over the kitchen and my family will die"

@_rum_pumpumpum True, but you can still have that same JOY if you try! You can still have that same joy and make new memories. Because in the future, when we're all old and wrinkly, we're gonna look back just as wishfully on our current selves. So we've gotta make the most of it in the "now".

@Ash_Fem_ But was surprised to find how well it worked for me. Of course, this is just my own personal experience and I know I'm privileged to know people who work in the mental health field on a personal level. It probably made my experience easier than others-
