Crypto Lord has added an important detail that we don't talk about enough, how these centralized data centers are paying for all the idle time. Massive addition to all their other costs that we don't face at YOM.

Yeah, that timeline tells the whole story. *Amazon Luna* tried to eat the cost of AAA streaming and bled out — publishers pulled titles because the unit economics never worked when you’re renting GPU farms by the hour. *Xbox* just passes the bill to users: Game Pass prices up, library trimmed, because centralized cloud rendering at scale is brutal on margins. Centralized models break because you’re paying for idle capacity. A datacenter GPU sitting at 10% utilization still costs the same. So either the platform loses money like Luna, or the user does like with Game Pass. *YOM’s decentralized angle* flips it: gamers with idle rigs become the network. Instead of Amazon buying 100k GPUs and hoping demand matches, YOM taps GPUs already sitting in homes. Latency is lower, utilization is higher, and costs drop ∼20x because you’re not paying AWS markup + redundancy + profit. No middleman, no single point of failure, no price hikes to cover cloud bills.
