I know a lot of people are interested in the financial costs of being a professional golfer. I’ll go into tournament expenses another time, but seeing as I’m currently catching up on my accounts, here’s an example of what my golf costs were last month (Jan 2025): - Entry fees (joining/membership fee for WPGA Tour, first LET event in Morocco) = £691.40 - Flights (to and from Spain for a practice week for myself and my coach, to and from Morocco for LET event, to and from Australia for LET events in Feb/March) = £1910.76 - Visa for Australia = £214.10 - Indoor TrackMan practice (while courses were closed ❄️❄️❄️) = £240 - Lessons/coaching = £150 - Green fees/practice fees for warm weather practice week = £143.91 - Outstanding management fees/commission from 2024 season = £2688.04 - Equipment check up = £50.00 - Gym membership = £31.00 - Physio = £96.00 - Car (rental/petrol for warm weather practice) = £182.30 - Food/drink during warm weather practice = £154.34 Total = £6551.85 (around $8250) 💰🧨

It’s been just over a year since we launched Outpost Overseas and now we are three! It’s great to welcome Eleanor Kelly to the team. My wife took the photo and she said I look like a proud father. I’m not sure she meant it in an entirely complimentary way either!

Inevitably we all view things in a way that benefits us personally. So I understand the top players seeing it this way. I don’t see how this would improve the product from a fans/sponsors perspective. Just makes it more of a closed shop and hands even more cash to the top end 🤷‍♂️

This is ⁦@capewickham⁩ The most underrated course in the world. Easily as good as a course like Pebble. If you come to Australia you must play it!
