'Training data' isn't the right phrase for what's used to train generative AI models - it dehumanises what is, in reality, human creative output. This isn't data - it's books, artwork, music, and more.
Calling it data makes it sound like it's just a low-value, anonymous input to the model. It's not. It's creative output that people have poured time and effort into, without which the model wouldn't work.
It may be better to refer to it as 'training media'. Even if just to remind people that this isn't 1s and 0s - it's people's creative work.

@YoungbloodJoe@badams@YoungbloodJoe we should talk anyway. We'd argue that the client is fixing a wrong problem, and they have nothing to lose if they explore what's possible.
Drop us a DM with your email and we'll be in touch.
@badams@GlidePlatform Eh, they want to stick with WordPress, we're just looking for a better hosting solution that could also offer management services (i.e. keep WP updated and backed up) without messing up things.
Hey @badams have any hosting+management experiences you like for mid-sized publishers? (1 mil+ visits / week, 10-15+ articles / day)
Current solution for one of our clients is ummm not great and time for them to move beyond.

A bit weird, going into @Cartoonmuseumuk to see the Laughter Lab show which opened yesterday, to see a large picture of myself, barely recognisable without a mask. My very small cartoon is in the foreground! Do visit - it’s all great! #cartoons#CartoonMuseum#LaughterLab

This is a good question - but The Spectator’s no-CV internship and recruitment policy means we’re open to all. One of our best interns this year, @alexa_rendell, decided not to go to uni. Our brilliant managing editor left school age 16. So yes, his story could be replicated...
We're delighted to be hosting digital powerhouses @alanhhunter and @TheGeoffMarsh at the @FIPPWorld congress on Friday, after a Zoom glitch cancelled the Wednesday session. #FIPPCongress

Enjoyed meeting Richard from @GlideCMS yesterday for upcoming sponsored profile. Heard how a good CMS enthuses and lifts editorial teams - better content, quicker content, more content plus steady stream of new ideas. More to follow in March / April issue...
