Fuck off. The Europeans are the ones in Putin's pocket. Trump has taken extraordinary steps against Russia and has done more to hurt Putin than everyone but Ukraine. Sanctioned Russia when he came in, Europeans followed weakly but still bought more energy from Russia than the money they sent to Ukraine. They were also buying tons of refined Russian oil products from Turkey and India. Trump drove oil prices down to $60, enlisting the help of the Saudis to do so. Since Russia has to sell at a discount, that put their sale price at below breakeven. Trump then sanctioned Rosneft and Lukoil, plus secondary sanctions on everyone that touched Russian oil - bankers, ports, shippers, insurance, refineries, drying up demand and pushing the discount price even lower. Lukoil has been bankrupted, trying to sell off its external assets for pennies on the dollar. Plus now the oil tanker seizures. Russia has run through all of its reserves, are making virtually nothing on oil - costing them actually as they have hundreds of millions of oil on tankers at sea. They cannot stop pumping their heavy crude from the east or their pipelines and wells will freeze up for years to come. So, Russia is now relying on China to fund the war, selling off their gold stockpile. They are near broke. That is all Trump. You can thank him any time.
