@MurkaDurkah Just ERMAXX like the Haitians, credit score be damned. Collection agencies are made up by the credit bureaus.

Paying taxes is demoralizing. Writing checks every year, to get exactly nothing in return. If I or my wife, god forbid, get some disease I will be destitute, sell my house, pull out investments, etc. Someone who showed up here from Haiti 2 seconds ago with a similar disease doesn't have to worry - I pay for that too.

It’s not that crazy that this is a pic of me from 8 years ago modified by A.I. …it’s crazy that the only thing that is NOT A.I. is the sandwich we had made lmao

@i_am_potetoman Yeah I’m reading your post in English. And I assume my comment is in Japanese.

@DabsMalone A drone sounds like a cool project, but I don’t know enough about this stuff to make something that moves. I’m building a shot timer.

5) I read some x posts that inspired me into thinking of making my own shot timer and grok made me delusional enough to believe I could actually do it.
So now I’m learning how to make basic electronics. I’m a believer that you can just do things.
It would be cool to make it into a sellable product, but I’m not emotionally invested in that outcome. I’ll have learned a lot by building it and hopefully have a better idea how to build a different product.
If I can build this into a usable thing for just me and a couple friends, it would be a huge W.
If you read this, thank you, you lost the game and maybe you should follow.

4) I use a pact club timer 3. I like it well enough. The major thing I thought about was the price, ~120-130. I just thought I could do it cheaper.
I researched parts, pcb manufacturing, and 3d printing and it just kinda seemed doable even if I added things like an SD card slot for storing drills I’ve shot or making the screen readable in sunlight.

Day 2 complete. So far I’ve gotten as far as seeing an indicator light on the microphone sensor and having an esp32 make a buzzer beep.
Had a lot of trouble just downloading the files to make arduino IDE see the chip. Spent like 3 hours waiting and trying different things after it failed. Got past that and had Gemini write me some code to sound a buzzer.
After I got that working I tried to add the microphone to trigger the buzzer, haven’t had success quite yet but my brain is tired of learning for today.

This account is now dedicated to creating my own shot timer. I’ve been inspired by @i2cjak and others to build electronics and this was the first idea I came up with.
I’m literally starting from scratch. No experience. My big dub so far has been making an LED AND A BUZZER go off at the same time when I press a button. AI has convinced me it will be EZPZ

Sounds like a grip thing, which may be influencing your trigger press. Your shooting hand should be connected to the gun but looser than you might expect (like your grip on the steering wheel driving down the highway) your support hand should squeeze more than you’d think (like a firm handshake)
Having a consistent grip is something I still struggle with, but it only happens when I’m shooting drills on a timer. If this is happening to you while focusing on accuracy, it might be something wrong with the ammo, gun or optic. Check the screws to make sure the dot isn’t loose. Have a friend shoot the gun to see if they have the same issue. Switch up what ammo you shoot.
English

@ControlledPairs I’m having an issue with site alignment consistency. I’ll put my red dot on the center of a steel target. Pull the trigger then hit it and then do it again and miss.
