🇺🇸 Heartwarming story:
15-year-old Will Roberts from Alabama, who’s been battling stage four bone cancer for 16 months, made a desperate plea for help on his mom’s Facebook.
After it reached the Trump administration, they stepped in and helped connect him with an experimental treatment in Santa Monica, California.
Will flew across the country and has already started treatment.
This kid’s fight is incredibly inspiring, and it’s great to see real help come through.

Maya’s cranioplasty was a success! ❤️
The surgery took a little longer than expected, but the team took their time to ensure everything was done carefully, and we were completely okay with that. There were no visible signs of the infection she battled six weeks ago, though we know we’re not entirely out of the woods yet there are always risks with a synthetic implant.
She has developed hydrocephalus again, which explains the head swelling she experienced while in rehab. However, there are many documented cases where cranioplasty helps restore normal brain pressures, allowing the hydrocephalus to resolve on its own. To support this, Maya has an EVD (external ventricular drain) in place to manage any pressure changes and protect the incision site while it heals.
We’re looking at about 5 days for initial healing, followed by another 5 days of gradually challenging the EVD. Our hope is that over the next 10 days and beyond, her hydrocephalus will subside naturally so she can avoid another surgery for a shunt.
Right after surgery, we were amazed to see Maya open her eye and lift her head to look around showing incredible strength so soon after such a major procedure. Throughout the day, she continued to regain her pre-surgery spark moving her hand and leg, squeezing our fingers, and looking around with curiosity.
Our sweet, innocent little girl has been through so much. It breaks my heart to watch her endure all of this, but at the same time, I’ve never been more proud of what a fighter she is.

Good morning Cowboys and Cowgirls! My brother called to tell me the Drs said the tumor was the size of a goofball on my nieces brain . They say she has 6 mths to live , if she takes radiation maybe 9 mths to a year. She will be hospitalized a mth then rehab . Please pray

Miss maya is in for her 5th surgery to date.. if all goes well, she will recieve her prosthetic skull piece.
If all goes GREAT it could be her last surgery 🥰

This past week her head (where the missing flap is), had swollen, deflated, and swollen again..
It is very heard to watch, especially when we dont really know why.
The past few weeks she has been vomiting almost everyday, for no concrete reason. No assumed cause has been consistent.
Theres speculations of course, but nothing is known, the brain is a mystery.
It is high hopes that, this new prosthetic barrier will enforce increased pressure to minimize cerebral fluid flow...
It is the highest hope, that this will all regulate it self in time.. and as a result, release some pressure from her eye *maybe it will open* aswell as relieving pressure around the rest of her face.
*maybe she will smile*
We are standing by, with our highest hopes for the greatest outcome.
