Despite the holiday period butter demand both here and on the continent is driving up cream prices with 25tBSC trading this week both domestic and export between £2.80kg to £2.83kg ex works. Spot milk trading is still relatively quiet with trading range put at 42ppl to 44ppl del

UK 25tBSC prices this wk £2.68 to £2.70kg ex works, exports adding 5p premium on back of stronger EU domestic prices, ranging from £2.88 to £2.97 per kg ex works equivalent. Spot milk 42ppl to 45ppl del with a little weakness in price reported if having to shift larger volumes.

Spot milk price holding around 43ppl to 44ppl del. 25tBSC prices have stepped up with domestic price range now at £2.47kg to £2.50kg ex works. Export returning £2.53kg to £2.55kg ex on the back of stronger EU market with their home market put at £2.72kg to £2.76kg ex equivalent.
