Ridge Rd SWS: Ongoing outage affecting Honeydew, Laser Park and surrounding areas. 44% of power supply has been restored. Repair efforts are delayed due to load constraints. Our team is currently patrolling between switching stations to monitor the situation and manage the load. We will keep the affected customers updated as and when new information becomes available. Eskom is required to isolate from their side. There is no alternative as the damaged equipment needs to be isolated and repaired. All the area's affected will remain off until Eskom has completed the isolation. City Power team will resume work thereafter. Customers will be updated as more information becomes available.
