Our final award of the Black Knight Awards presented by @USAA is the Class of 1970 MacArthur Cup Athletics Award for Team of the Year! Well done to all of our teams and nominees and a congrats on a tremendous season by our winners - @ArmyWP_WSoccer 🫡 Women’s Soccer won the 2025 Patriot League Championship and earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2011. The Black Knights posted 14 wins, which was the third-straight year with 10+ victories. Sophie Henry (Rookie of the Year) & Brigid Duffy (Offensive Player of the Year) each capture Patriot League major awards.

Our next award is the Women’s Athlete of the Year Award! Congratulations to all our nominees and to our winner – Brigid Duffy of @ArmyWP_WSoccer & @ArmyWP_WLax 👏👏👏 Duffy was the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year in Women’s Soccer and the league’s Midfielder of the Year in Women’s Lacrosse. She appeared in an NCAA Tournament game in both soccer and lacrosse this season and is a 2025 Tewaaraton Award Finalist, which is given to the top women’s college lacrosse player in the nation.

Up next is the Men’s Athlete of the Year Award! Congrats to all our nominees and to our winner – Johnny Crush of @ArmyWP_SwimDive 👏👏👏 Crush became only the 2nd swimmer to earn back-to-back First Team All-American in the 100 back, joining Peter Witteried who did it in 1952-54. He earned his 2nd-straight Patriot League Swimmer of the Meet honor at league championships. Throughout 2025-26, Crush earned 27 first-place finishes, including 3 at Patriot League Championships.
