Go developers know the pain: if err != nil if err != nil if err != nil Dingo is trying something interesting. A meta-language that compiles to clean Go but adds things like: • Result types • Pattern matching • Error propagation with `?` Write modern syntax → get pure Go.

I also want to try out PicoClaw, a Go implementation which supposedly can on <10MB RAM, 99% less memory than OpenClaw github.com/sipeed/picoclaw

in a recent podcast appearance Emma Watson shared her views on learning Rust: "...why would I want a PhD in compilerology when garbage collection has been a solved problem for decades? they say "learn Rust because it's taking over systems programming" but I'm not writing operating systems or firmware, I make CRUD apps and microservices. the industry is pushing the narrative that every dev needs to know Rust for job security but realistically, TypeScript and Go already handle 99% of backend without making you wrestle with Arc> just to share data between threads. sure, maybe if I wanted to work on blockchain infrastructure, but what for? crypto is over. even Keith Rabois and Delian left Miami. it all feels like overkill that's being forced on us by the "close to the metal" crowd who can't accept that most modern software doesn't need that level of control."
