A newspaper biz colleague from CA visited PDX. He was excited to see the city, ride his bicycle, and stay at a downtown hotel. Windows smashed... truck ransacked... bike stolen... makin' memories. Kicking himself for not using valet parking, but I'm embarrassed for our city.

Just left Charlie Kirk’s memorial and it felt like a revival. The greatest one I have ever witnessed. The energy in the room was indescribable. Deep respect for Erika Kirk’s heartfelt yet strong message. Major kudos to the TPUSA team for delivering a world class event with only 7 days notice. Charlie did in 31 years what would’ve taken 10 over achievers to accomplish. Today could literally be the turning point of USA because of Charlie. Future looks bright.

Rest in peace, Charlie. God will take it from here. He has already done so much good in the week since you left us. I wanted to focus on that while hosting The Charlie Kirk Show today. Tonight on Glenn TV, my team compiled some of the highlights.

What the hell do we do now? Where do we go from here? What happens next? Who is supposed to pick up the microphone? No one will ever be able to fill Charlie’s shoes. No one. But I can’t think of anything that would fill his heart and make him prouder than the generation he inspired to pick up the torch and carry it forward. To continue this mission he gave his life for to speak the truth and to fight against evil, to fill the hearts of the world with courage and the love of God. This is the Turning Point of our time. I don’t even know if Charlie intended for that name to pack such a punch, and maybe it seems even more important now, but amid the expected and disgusting hate comments in the wake of Charlie’s death, I am floored and inspired all over again by the thousands of posts I’ve seen from our generation saying that this is their personal awakening to get in the arena, to be on the frontlines of this culture war, and to speak out in courage no matter what the backlash that comes next might look like. And I guess that’s the answer. Who picks up the microphone from here? Who keeps speaking the truth when the world needs it the most? Who keeps pushing back against evil? YOU. You do. We do. Charlie always believed this - that anyone from anywhere can inspire the world if they just have the courage to do it. I have to believe that Charlie lit the spark that will spark a wildfire in this movement. A movement not just to fix our political system or revive the American Dream, but so much bigger. To change culture. To seek and speak truth. To love God authentically and share that love with the world. To transform humanity as Salt and Light through every action we take.
