Also, Rivian has only scratched the surface on what they can do with the halo wheels. Wait until you can use them for in-car games!

@cersmiami @Hilbe I liked the R2 wheel thing is I don’t understand what’s the big deal people making on the haptic wheels? Like this WOW factor many saying. Yeah it’s cute. Nice touch. Not a make or break deal. I did find the driver display small comparing to my R1. I’ll take the latest R2 wheel.

Miles from my house a few weeks ago. It was a graffiti MVB mule. Happy to have the gremlins worked out before the masses and myself receive it.

@Hilbe This is why the employees get them first to help find any gremlins the MVB’s didn’t. Better to find now than later when there are thousands and thousands of them out there.

PSA: If you see an R2 in public, please make sure to snap a picture of the VIN so we can track how many have been built. If the VIN ends in an X (see photo) that's an MVB and not a production R2.

@djfrerichs @Hilbe I know they have a Catalina Cove and Coastal Cloud combo at their design studio. I’ve see a few YouTuber Videos where it made an appearance.

@Hilbe Crazy to think they don’t have at least of these block party MVB’s in Coastal Cloud to show the difference. I believe the Borealis was the only one that did at SXSW.

I snuck a picture of a R2 MVB with Coastal Cloud and LiDAR at Autonomy and AI Day. It is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and my pick over Black Crater. $1,000 seems like a no-brainer for this interior.

The difference here is most of the employee deliveries we have seen to-date have been at the factory in Normal, IL. Those R2 all were seen with Illinois temporary tags. If it has a California temporary tag, it's been shipped for delivery at a local service center in CA. That's a significant step towards customer deliveries.

After seeing Catalina Cove in person, this is the spec right here. Catalina Cove, Coastal Cloud, and 21s. I am still suggesting if you can wait util early next year, get the AZ battery pack and LiDAR/ACM3.
