I was going through the Auditor General’s report on the National Treasury and found something deeply disturbing.
Treasury released KSh 1.884 billion to the State Department to settle pending bills.
But when the Auditor General checked, the State Department reportedly had no approved pending bills in the previous year.
Meaning: KSh 1.8 billion was likely released to pay for bills not approved or non existent.
But it gets even stranger.
The next page in the report (Page 72), which should explain this transaction and others in detail, is blank.
The next page jumps to a completely different issue.
Accident? Printing error? Or was something removed?
I can’t confirm that yet. But one thing is certain:
Kenyans deserve answers on where this KSh 1.8 billion went.
I’ll be writing to the Office of the Auditor General to request the original report.
And this is just the beginning.
More revelations coming.

WAMUNYORO Desk intel is picking up that an urgent midnight meeting was quietly convened at Thika Greens Golf Resort to figure out how to deal with Irungu Kang'ata.
Senior figures, including MPs and a former CS, reportedly sat through the night searching for a way out. The first option on the table was impeachment whichcollapsed almost immediately. The numbers simply weren’t there. Out of 51 MCAs in Murang’a, only two were said to be aligned with the plan, and both are nominated. The others, whom they agreed could not be bought out of Wamunyoro.
From there, the meeting turned into a scramble. The focus moved to finding someone to run against Kang’ata under UDA, especially after he made it clear he would not be seeking re-election on the party’s ticket. Names were floated. Alice Wahome came up, but even that suggestion hit resistance, with concerns raised about her old age and viability in the current political climate.
Other ideas bordered on desperation, looking for any angle that could trigger action from EACC. But even that route reportedly stalled, with an uncomfortable admission in the room agreeing Kang’ata has kept his record clean enough to make that path difficult to sustain.
By the time the meeting broke up, there was no clear plan, just a growing realization that the usual political tools were not working. And perhaps more telling, that Kang’ata is no longer being treated as just another governor, but as a political problem that isn’t easy to fix.
The meeting ended with a proposal that INDEED William Ruto's only option is leaving mt Kenya to GOD!! The convener the former CS was heard saying, 'aki hapa Rais alijifix ku-impeach Gachagua'

This was in March 2024. At the summit of his power, President Ruto did not listen to anyone. He took advice from no one. He was a man on a quest to become a political god.
Two months later, in June 2024, protests happened and put a stop on the metamorphosis of Ruto from human to all powerful.
Today, Ruto begs and pleads. Indeed, power submits to a higher power. The people remained supreme.

STOP ATTACKS AND VILIFICATION OF RETIRED PRESIDENT UHURU KENYATTA
The sustained and increasingly hostile attacks directed at Rtd President Uhuru Kenyatta by leaders within the Kenya Kwanza administration must come to an immediate end.
These actions are reckless, unnecessary, and represent a direct affront to constitutional democracy. They are a calculated attempt to silence former Head of State and curtail his political rights that are guaranteed to every Kenyan.
What is even more troubling is the narrow and misguided framing by some of these leaders, who reduce this matter to a purely domestic issue.
Their arguments betray a flimsy understanding of global politics and democratic practice. Kenya does not exist in isolation, there is a whole world beyond our borders where democratic norms are respected and upheld.
Across Africa and the world, retired leaders remain active participants in national and global affairs. Leaders such as Kikwete, Muluzi,Zuma, Chisanno,Khama, PM Nawaz Sharif, Late President Quincy Adams, Late Rtd PM Odinga etc continued to serve as influential voices long after leaving office. H.E Uhuru Kenyatta is entitled to the same democratic space.
Kenya Kwanza must desist from this dangerous path of political intolerance. No political formation has the right to dictate the leadership, alliances, or internal affairs of another. We do not choose partners for them, and they will not choose partners for us.
We know that you, Mr President William Ruto, are behind the continued deployment of your proxies to attack and vilify H.E Uhuru Kenyatta. We therefore call on you to immediately rein in your operatives and restore order within your ranks. It must be clearly understood that the failures of your government cannot and will not be blamed on H.E Uhuru Kenyatta. Leadership demands accountability, not scapegoating.
Let them also be reminded of Article 151(3) of the Constitution, which clearly protects the benefits and privileges of a retired President from being altered to their disadvantage. Any attempt to intimidate or undermine this provision is both unconstitutional, null and void and unacceptable.
By targeting ,H.E Uhuru Kenyatta, Kenya Kwanza kakistocracy has dialed the wrong number. We will not be intimidated. The United Alternative Government will firmly defend his constitutional and statutory rights.
Kenya deserves mature, issue-based politics, not intimidation, propaganda, or vendetta. Kenya is part of a global democratic community, and we will not allow ignorance, whether deliberate or otherwise, to erode the standards we must uphold as a nation.
