We're living in an attention economy where the noise is deafening. I love hype language. But let's get to the ground for a moment. Here on X our feeds is full of AI agents making payments, buying things, settling invoices (x402, web4, ERC8004...). Every week there's a new demo, a new POC, a new flashy video that gets 10K likes and fades in 48 hours. Agent commerce right now is a flashy wishlist. Nobody (ok maybe few entusiants) are giving their AI the power to buy and roam around with real money now. We are not ready. I may be wrong.... but It's one thing for AI to research, write emails, even code. It's another thing entirely to pay. People have friction paying their own invoices and subscriptions. The idea that we'll just hand AI a wallet and say "go spend" is ludicrous. The tech is not there. The infrastructure is not there. It will be. Gartner predicts that by 2028, 20% of enterprise commerce will be agent initiated. But to get from here to there, someone needs to do the actual R&D. Not demos. Not POCs. The hard, boring infrastructure work. That's our contribution. A wallet for AI agents with real guardrails. Spending limits, approved recipients, rate controls: enforced at the wallet level, not the application level. The agent operates freely within rules you set. It physically cannot break them, even if compromised. You stay in control. For all the tech nerds: the research paper is attached. Peer-reviewable. Threat model. Security analysis. Benchmarks. Open source.

Incredible comms and some of the best developer support I've seen from a team I've seen. This is one of the BEST ways to engage with developers even if you are not an official sponsor. Big thanks to the Kobaru team for their support for the SKALE Developers and hackers this week!

@_saberamani Check out Parts 4 and 5 of the report. In a nutshell, microSaaS was never economically viable and it led to inevitable feature bloat. Micropayment infrastructure now exists. The x402 protocol enables sub-cent transaction fees, making genuine micro-services economically viable.

@GoKobaru that's an interesting take on saas. can you elaborate on how x402 specifically changes everything for micro-saas?
