𝗠𝗮𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲! More than $156B of Bitcoin sits idle on corporate balance sheets today. Less than 3% is productively deployed. Today Maestro launches Treasury, the first institutional BTC-first yield marketplace. A single application for treasuries, funds, and asset managers to manage their entire Bitcoin portfolio and put reserves to work. 🧵

Everyone asks how high Bitcoin yield can go. Almost no one asks where it actually comes from. The next generation of Bitcoin capital won't be defined by APY. It'll be defined by the economic activity behind it

@GoMaestroOrg simple real yield comes from real economic activity. Everything else is fugazi

Bitcoin shouldn't have to leave the Bitcoin economy to earn. Mezzamine pays yield in BTC, sourced from real mining. No synthetic tokens. No points. Bitcoin in. Bitcoin out. Hold it, or put it to work?

@justinbebis @nicoypei Fair question. Built on real economic activity, not tokens or reward mechanisms. Numbers are public, nothing hidden. Always happy to answer any questions you might have.

The more liquid funds we work with the more I realize managers and vaults enjoy significant tailwinds if they are delivering yield for BTC/XRP/ETH etc But if they aim for delivering yield for stables, currently there's little PMF or distinction among all the offering listed below Everything listed below are basically lending different stables on different chains against low-yield or no-yield crypto collaterals. Without rewards, all will struggle to retain TVL For BTC-denominated funds that borrow stablecoin to run strategies, 3.5-5.5% APY on BTC is very attractive for the trillion-dollar asset class. The same strategies can be scaled to more exotic assets with large spot holder base and good liquidity, with XRP, HYPE, and BNB seeing very strong demand for yield All of these strategies are very sensitive to borrow rate volatility and couldn't scale before. But now they can hedge with us and that can make a huge difference to the borrow / lend landscape.

Browse through @merkl_xyz and all you see are stablecoin-based incentives everywhere Competition is rising amongst every stablecoin, lending protocol and fintech The question is when the incentives run out, who will have found true PMF?

@varderes_crypto That's the thesis. Building the plumbing for capital that didn't have anywhere to go before.

Bitcoin changed money. The next chapter is changing finance. Capital markets, credit, liquidity, and real economic activity, all denominated in Bitcoin. That's the future we're building.

@baskinen2 Agreed. The unlock isn't buying coffee in sats. It's a treasurer borrowing against BTC without selling it.

@GoMaestroOrg for the most part CT wants to jumps straight to btc as money. the more interesting transition is btc becoming collateral first. credit, liquidity, and capital markets move before every day commerce does.
