Looks like the Mariners’ dugout thought that Tyler Soderstrom might’ve tagged up early on this one...
Casey Legumina threw over to third base after the dust settled and Soderstrom narrowly slid around Cal Raleigh’s tag at the plate for the go-ahead run.

If they had left Raley in, I would have gotten it. I would have understand Wisdom or Garver too.

Luke Raley has a 42 OPS+ against lefties and a .182 lifetime batting average. Be disappointed that Victor Robles is hurt and Refsnyder is away from the team, or be mad that ownership didn't greenlight spending on an everyday player like Kyle Tucker. Luke Raley has never shown he can hit LHP, so I'm not surprised that he didn't get a chance to.

Jerry Dipoto reiterated that J.P. Crawford will remain the Mariners’ shortstop in 2026, and suggested that whenever Colt Emerson is ready, he’ll likely play third base in Seattle this season.
At that point, Brendan Donovan would then be used in more of a utility role.
