@morganhousel This is correct. I do not believe uncertainty is to blame. The real issue is our disconnectedness and our inability to raise functioning adults. This is an economic, mental health, and sometimes a parenting issue.

I don't fully buy the idea that living in an age of uncertainty is what's driving the decline in fertility.
The Baby Boom took place when your kids had to practice duck-and-cover drills at school to prepare for what was seen as the inevitable nuclear apocalypse.

John Sterling is as much a part of the fabric of the New York Yankees organization as any player. It was an honor to have him call every one of my games during my career and an absolute pleasure to get to know him on a personal basis. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.
