Last Friday my son’s buddy, a 19-year-old kid walked off a drilling rig with his first real paycheck in his life. Sweat on his shirt, dirt on his boots, and a look on his face like he just became a man. That’s not a “policy win.” That’s what America First actually feels like when you stop punishing energy producers and start rewarding hard work again. We spent years watching kids get hooked on fentanyl or buried in student debt for useless degrees. Now we’re giving them calluses, purpose, and a future they can build with their own two hands. This is the country I want my kids and grandkids to grow up in.

We traded one public health problem for another, this time with a trendy “natural” halo around it. I’ve seen this cultural shift happen in many places — the “weed is safe” narrative got pushed so hard that we’ve downplayed the real effects on developing brains. What do you think — did society overcorrect on cigarettes and under-correct on cannabis, or is weed genuinely safer for teenagers?

We find you hilarious. Take the time to look up historical records to see there is nothing new going on. Take the time to understand the enormity of time and that our weather records cover a chunk of time so insanely small to be worthless. But, even within that short record, these temperatures and climate events ARE NOT UNUSUAL! Start using serious critical thinking. Be skeptical about everything.

The New York Times is upset that EPA Administraor Lee Zeldin will be speaking at the Heartland Institute / CFACT co-sponsored climate conference next month [that I am also speaking at]. The Times asserts that we “contradict decades of established science” about there being a “climate crisis.” Funny thing is, there is no consensus on whether there is or isn’t a “climate crisis” in the scientific community or literature. Just because global warming may be [mostly] man-made doesn’t mean that it is an existential threat. Nuance is evidently difficult for the low-IQ writers at the New York Times.

Friday evening rant: I feel like there's a big misconception among Christians that Jesus teaches us to "be nice to get along" people. There's a certain value in that. But here's the key distinction: it only applies as far as compromising the truth doesn't happen. Apostle Paul openly wrote about adopting himself to different cultures ... but for a specific reason, to spread the truth. Also keep in mind Apostle Paul got beaten multiple times. Read that again. Apostle Paul gave up his heritage, his ethnicity, his whole identity ... to spread the capital-T Truth. And the reward wasn't "getting along." It was being openly beaten up and imprisoned. Jesus said: "If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you." Jesus does not want evangelicals to stay home, be "nice," be focused on their families. What that message means to you -- only Jesus can tell you. I have said several times that Jesus places people where they witness to refugees and other roles that would be construed as "leftist." So I do not judge Christians who are called into those roles. But if you are a Christian, and you are afraid of making conflict -- perhaps it's time to pray and ask why.

Every year for vday her dad always took her on a date and this year since she was in college, they planned a virtual date where she would fit him when she could. The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.
