Shoutout to the guy at the London Sonic Symphony who was the first to lay eyes on the project outside of the development/testing team, when I was playing it on my steam deck, in a Premier Inn lobby Thankfully, he assumed it was xenia.. I just never corrected him 👀

It's crazy that a year has already passed since it we released it. That day I pulled an all-nighter to provide support to people after release. Since then I had the chance to do my dream trip to Japan and I brought it with me to the SEGA building. Nobody tell John Sega though🤫

Miyamoto was inspired by Indiana Jones when he developed The Legend of Zelda: "The Indiana Jones movies were out around that time. I wanted to bring that sense of adventure to a video game. And people playing computer RPGs back then were bragging about how strong their swordsmen had become, and were calling each other at night to exchange information. When I noticed that, I thought it was an interesting scene. With a world of swords and sorcery as my theme, I decided to make an adventure game based on treasure hunting, and that was the beginning of The Legend of Zelda."
