@BuxtonMatthew I’ve always felt a chip on the shoulder at not being able to raise funds when we built a decent game on next to no funding. But this game is more ‘who you know’ than ‘what you know’ and we haven’t got the links to where the capital is.

It seems crazy to me that VCs gave money to 90% of the projects that received it in this space but there we go. Having talked with countless game founders in the last year I can tell you this space is divided. The two categories are: hubris vs underfunded competence.

@_jhunsaker These other subjects should be baked into the curriculum. For example, economics and statistics is and should be a part of maths. I’d say all current listed subjects are important in the curriculum, so you won’t be able to replace any with another - only incorporate.

the typical (American) high school curriculum consists of these core subjects: English mathematics science (usually earth, biology, chemistry, physics) government physical education foreign language art / music they should be largely replaced with these subjects: economics / markets probability / statistics psychology / sociology game theory the world (society) would improve tremendously in just a couple generations how will the students learn English and math though? because during the study of these subjects they will be required to read and write a lot and do a lot of math anyways
