@Man_with_a_van @Shopify Don’t think it can be worse than Stripe. Someone I know sent me money there and stripe took the money away and said the costumer claimed they had an issue with the order. Also it was 2 payments and they ended up taking twice the money for one. I was left with 20k out of 35k XD

How Democracy Works In The EU If it doesn't pass , vote again. If it doesn't pass, vote again. If it doesn't pass, vote again. Once it passes, never vote on it ever and have hate speech laws to make it illegal to even bring it up as an idea.

Merry Christmas to all, including the Radical Left Scum that is doing everything possible to destroy our Country, but are failing badly. We no longer have Open Borders, Men in Women’s Sports, Transgender for Everyone, or Weak Law Enforcement. What we do have is a Record Stock Market and 401K’s, Lowest Crime numbers in decades, No Inflation, and yesterday, a 4.3 GDP, two points better than expected. Tariffs have given us Trillions of Dollars in Growth and Prosperity, and the strongest National Security we have ever had. We are respected again, perhaps like never before. God Bless America!!! 99.9% of 40 year old men with 700 million dollars sit around with whores. I could have done the same and talked shit on the Internet and took no risks and just lived easy. In my heart I knew I’m too old. I knew I’d been out too long. That’s why I had to do it. To face fear. I can’t live scared. I have to know I faced it. I lost fair and square. Chase is a true champion. A warrior - I’m proud of him. He deserves that belt.

A debate was held in the UK Parliament on a petition to repeal the Online Safety Act, but no new developments were made, reaffirming that the government has no intention of repealing it. Other proposals to place smartphones and tablets under surveillance appear to be in the works. Freedom in the UK, including digital identity, is at risk. The fight is likely to continue into 2026.

Preston Byrne@prestonjbyrne

The House of Commons’ petition debate on the repeal of the Online Safety Act was a bit of a joke. It was virtually entirely made up of supporters of the Act, justifying expansion of the censorship regime. This is why I’ve worked to try to move that conversation to Washington.

@duplodude @WBHoekstra I wish it was that simple. It’s not 3€ per parcel. It’s per category of item purchased (HS Code). They’d have to make every category in the EU cheaper to offset imports. This will never happen. All the money will go back into their pockets

@WBHoekstra Are you equally going to lower costs for buyers buying form within the EU by 3 Euros, or are you just taxing everyone?

Very pleased with the agreement late last week by 🇪🇺 Finance Ministers to introduce a €3 customs duty per item on e-commerce parcels under €150. This move helps to level the playing field for EU sellers, giving them a fair chance to compete with online platforms from abroad.
Maroš Šefčovič🇪🇺@MarosSefcovic

🆕 I welcome today's decision by EU Finance Ministers on small-parcel customs duties. Coming into effect as of 7/2026, it's a timely, important step towards a level playing field and fair competition in the e-commerce landscape. It reflects the urgency to act.

@darknessblades @PeteB1612 Buddy. It’s worse than that. It’s not 3€ per parcel. It’s 3€ per HS code. If you bought x10 raspberry zero + 10 coca colas to celebrate the purchase..you pay 6€ tax and not 3€. You literally have to buy cheap shit in bulk (same category) to not feel this too much

@PeteB1612 The EU think the following: Lets add 3 euro on top of that (3 euro Raspberry zero clone) bought in a pack of 10 for 25 euro after all discounts making it 28 euro inc all fees Meanwhile the same board locally will cost 9 euro meaning it still 3X cheaper on aliexpress than local

@shyanski @PeteB1612 @WBHoekstra Do you realise how good they must feel to first get excited about taxing people 3€ And also be wrong as it won’t be only 3€? I read the papers and it said they want to tax 3€ per HS code. So per item category. You order a 2€ razor, 1€ Coca Cola and 1 shirt? 3x3€ tax = 9

@WBHoekstra EU commissioner but doesn’t know it’s not per PARCEL but per ITEM hs code… Meaning if I buy a Coca Cola + a shirt + a razer I end up paying 9€ of extra tax and not 3€. LMAOOOO

We joined the EEC over 50 years ago for the free movement of goods and service, and that people in member states could move around freely. We didn’t sign up to be taxed for buying goods from outside the EU, it’s becoming more and more like a dictatorship!

@L119A2 @Gert_Woellmann @EUCouncil How many people or children die a year from this that you need to tax EVERYONE 365 days a year for..ordering somewhere cheaper? If the EU didn’t have such atrocious policies and taxes maybe sellers could provide better prices instead of demanding 100€ for a 5€ item from temu

There's no way that you can inspect 400 million individual items a month and China knows that, that's how they commit tariff fraud and get away with sending trash clothes full of heavy metals and toys that can kill your children that do not comply with our standards the same standards that our companies have to comply with (for good reasons) and make our own products more expensive.

The EU is being flooded with small parcels(under €150)which currently enter duty-free. The Council has agreed to introduce a €3 customs duty on these items, as of 1 July 2026. This will help: -ensure fair competition -protect consumers -tackle fraud ➡️ link.europa.eu/xRxmxV
