Morning, Patriots! 🇺🇸 I’m not just about gardening, and I’ve been paying attention, so here goes… My big brother & I were talking last night & both concluded that in 2028, we’d like to see Marco Rubio run for President w/JD as VP. Rubio is AMAZING & is strong, blunt & NOT afraid to take action. He has overseen reforms/cuts at the State Dept & other agencies, frozen U.S. foreign aid (per Trump's EO,) lead the dismantling/reduction of USAID programs (cutting 80 + % of some) He’s hard nosed on immigration enforcement using diplomacy, (aligned closely w/Trump's border policies) revoking student visas for ties to protests, paused refugee programs & closed offices formerly used to facilitate illegal entry. He’s also negotiated deals sending gang members in our country illegally, to El Salvador's CECOT. Rubio played a key role in OPS against Maduro (including his capture as a narcoterrorist), imposing sanctions & emphasizing the U.S. won’t allow threats from drug traffickers/hostile regimes. Then, there’s Rubio’s foreign policy experience which include Sudanese cease fires, the sanctioning of int’l criminal court judges, Haiti security, Indo-Pacific meetings w/allies to counter China, & the list goes on. Yes. IMHO, our “Secretary of Everything” would be an EXCELLENT POTUS, and while I like Vance, Rubio’s resume speaks volumes! He has done SO much! We absolutely NEED someone like him leading our country after DJT’s term is over & I sincerely hope Marco Rubio is at the TOP of the 2028 ticket! (Thanks for reading this.)

Our neighbor's grand nephew owns a blueberry farm west of town and keeps bees. He will be coming tomorrow morning to collect the honeybees. 🙌 🐝

@JoymleeLily I tried to get a short video of their cute little 🐝 butts wiggling while they ate, but by the time I got back outside most had finished eating and flown to wherever they are sleeping.

I can't believe I'm doing this. We just got home to find a mini swarm of honey bees trying to get into the hummingbird feeders. I'm rigged them up a feeder using a plant saucer and a bee island. My husband set an old birdbath up to place the bee feeder in. Waiting for the nectar to cool.

@TraciVibe My plan was to make sure everyone was fed and happy, then nap, then a huge paperwork project later. My husband's plan was apparently to replace the blades on the lawn tractor, maybe wash my truck, do some piddling. I like my plan better...except for the paperwork part.

Oh, the messes I get myself into. 🤦‍♀️Grok is being supportive. I now have the name and # of a beekeeper that I'll contact tomorrow to come relocate the swarm. At least the bees are now leaving the hummingbird feeders alone. 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝

@TwizzlerGirl I completely understand. 🫂Jax and Kane were brothers and cousins (same sire, their dams were full sisters). "Their" cat KiKi followed them to the Rainbow Bridge in March of '23.

@GodsZebra Oh, I’m so sorry… I was reeling from the loss of one, and to suddenly lose the second one was beyond pain. ❤️‍🩹🪽🪽

@RealTalk8386 There's a ton more than in the photo. There's a few on a hummingbird feeder in the front yard, but they're just going to have to find the nectar hub out back on their own.
