Took some time to recap every move I have made in my lonesome dynasty league that I am in, to provide some context and info into how I play the game, along with where some of my inspiration has come from. Quite lengthy but could help a newer player get ideas from another newbie.

This time last year, I had hardly any clue what dynasty fantasy football even was. I loved redraft, and have always loved football, but wanted a way to apply off-season knowledge to something worthwhile. A buddy of mine recommended dynasty, and I gave it a shot. (1/?)

A trade I had made the other day. This locks in my QBs of Kyler and JA for who knows how long. I can still snag immense value at 5 as well.

@DynastyOnion I guess Goff and fields are quite replaceable at this point, but my question becomes, is this your process in general? Trade back and capitalize on the hopium people have towards rookie QBs to snag WRs

@DynastyOnion I think some of this comes from the shear amount of content there is available, and with the emergence of later round guys, like last year, it brings people’s hopes up. Does this approach change if you don’t have 2 top QBs and instead have guys like goff/fields? (Serviceable QBs)

QBs are generally overvalued in SF leagues - particularly in rookie drafts. If QB scoring is friendly, there isn't enough differentiation between elite QBs and high volume QBs. If QB scoring is unfriendly/subtracts points, then the chances the QB is elite in FF are too low.

@DynastyOnion Definitely agreed on the rookie QB take, so in general would you say QB is a position that you’d rather take proven talent for compared to other positions in dynasty? Like are you more inclined to ship off elite rookie picks for a QB, even if it isn’t that top tier of QB?

@GoffDropFF The truly elite QBs with infinite value insulation are the exceptions (Mahomes, Allen...) But when you draft a QB in the rookie draft its usually a long shot that you're going to hit on one of those compared to the chances of hitting on an elite prospect at another position.

New trade, who dis! Kittle didn’t really match my teams timeline, and I’m starting to fall in love with the middle of the 2nd round, so picking up a QB I’m bullish on, and the 2.06 for an aging TE (my teams 2, behind McBride) seems like a good deal to me.

This is going to get tricky. I think Quinn, or even Glenn is the hire for Detroit, and MacDonald is still my guess still for Seattle. Fantasy production/stock will depend almost wholeheartedly on offensive hires.

I think Washington goes for Johnson, Seattle goes for MacDonald. A Johnson hire would spike all pass catchers, and could make Gibson sneaky if he resigns, and the Seattle outlook depends on who they hire at OC.

His COST? 2024 2.08, or later! Josh Jacobs is not under contract, and it is not a guarantee that they bring him back on a likely expensive contract. Zamir is young, and produced with this regime late in the season. They may want to roll with him and put their money elsewhere.

@DynastyDadFF @MyFantasyLeague Feel like it’s gotta be hurts, they’ll get new playcallers and he outscores goff by 100+ pts consistently. Can always flip hurts for that bottom package anyways.
