No, I'm not a milkman. Nottingham Forest. FPL. Snooker. Food & cooking.

A couple of colleagues have spoken out against that Kyren celebration.
Probably easy to go down the route of, what's he doing celebrating like that against a teenager?
Having said that, it's a tough old business. Cue issues plus intense pressure of falling behind.

@Pavlo__Escobar It is a sad state of affairs that this tweet misses by numerous miles. I adore snooker but the idea that money and corruption has not affected it is absolute nonsense. Sorry.
English

Snookers probably the only sport that isn’t affected by getting ruined by money etc. I follow many sports and money/ corruption has basically ruined Cricket, Football, Tennis, Boxing, F1. Many people slag off Darts and Snooker but its turned out those sports are the only real ones that are genuinely all about passion and not all about money, along with affordable tickets for fans. Before any smartarse comes for me saying Snooker and Darts aren’t sports, for me they are lol.

@PippaCrerar Are you a spokesperson for the government? Because this is just parroting them.

EXCL: Keir Starmer would have blocked Peter Mandelson from serving as the UK’s ambassador to Washington had he known he failed security vetting, David Lammy tells me.
The deputy PM also says:
- it was “inexplicable” that Oliver Robbins opted to leave Downing Street in dark over outcome.
- he was “shocked and surprised” when he first learned on Thursday what had happened.
- neither he nor his advisers at time he was foreign sec had known about – or asked for information on – vetting process or its conclusions

Here's the official government position on the Mandelson vetting scandal this morning, according to Liz Kendall:
* Olly Robbins was 'wrong' not to tell the PM that Mandelson had failed security vetting, he was 'wrong' again not to do so when the PM repeatedly claimed in public - incorrectly - that due process had been followed
* The PM would not have given Mandelson clearance if he knew that he had failed UK Security Vetting
* No 10 asked 'repeated questions' about Mandelson's vetting and was told 'due process' had been followed. These questions, and the responses, are now key
* Starmer allies are warning allies that changing leaders now - at a time of global and economic instability - would be reckless
