No. 7 seed @milescollegebsb shocks No. 2 seed Albany State in the opening round of @TheSIAC Baseball Championship on Thursday afternoon. The Golden Bears advance to face Edward Waters at 5 p.m. CDT on Friday.

At least the ride back to Macon County is not that far… The Lady Bears eliminate Tuskegee and will face Fort Valley State tonight at 7 p.m. CDT. The winner will play for the SIAC title on Thursday.

The weather is still causing delays at the 2026 SIAC Softball Championships presented by Toyota. The resumption of the Miles-Savannah State elimination game has been moved to 1 p.m. CDT.

It took 10 innings but the Lady Bears advance in the winner’s bracket with a 3-1 win over Edward Waters!
