$SILVER was up almost 7% intraday, then closed the day at a meagre ~1.4%... Classic fakeout behaviour. I genuinely hope not too many late longs got trapped at the highs here, because this is why I kept saying: wait for the close, preferably the weekly close...

Too many wicks, too much resistance, not enough confirmation. I called the first bear flag and got plenty of heat for it. That eventually broke down... Now we are seeing a very similar structure again. Today’s comments were wild, but honestly, I mostly feel sorry for the people who probably bought the highs. I specifically told subs to wait until end of business, preferably the weekly close. So far, we may not even need to wait that long... Not calling victory yet, but none of the broader confirmation tools I track - ratios, structure, intermarket signals - confirmed this silver squeeze as “real” yet. #Gold down 1% today and continues to look weak. It is now getting close to the $4380 support level and that is a crucial level for bulls. It should get a bounce there but it may only be small so not a trade for me. Eventually I still expect it to break that level and go lower.
