Never underestimate people who are comfortable alone. They learned how to find peace within themselves, so distance, silence, or neglect are not threats to them. You cannot punish someone with what they already mastered. This is powerful!

People need to realize 'If someone tells you you hurt them, you don't get to decide that you didn't! It’s not a difficult thing to take a few steps back and admit that your actions have caused harm.

Understand your trauma, but do not glorify it. Your identity is so much more than the rough parts of your emotional history. If you only see yourself through your pain it becomes harder to let it go. Accept it, heal it and learn to live beyond it. That’s how you grow.
