@GoldsmithKieran@ChesterfieldFC From what I saw in both games he was shite, obviously missed that pen which might have killed his confidence for both games but he was awful
@ChesterfieldFC 180 minutes + additional time and not one goal scored, yet we were the form team coming into the play offs. Very disappointing.
Let’s hope we get the recruitment right this summer and some of our luxury players actually pull their fingers out
@ChesterfieldFC Massive credit to Swinks, Fadz and JD in both legs, thought they were fantastic. Think our system let us down (hmm maybe there's a theme there in playoff ties) but overall Notts earned it through fantastic defending and wiley dark arts that we're just crap at. Build, go again.
@BigT2005@ChesterfieldFC Not a lot happened actually in fairness. But you capitalised on our mistake and took your chance. Fair play. All the best in final
@ChesterfieldFC AHAHAHAH what happened to u lot saying u was gonna batter us both legs look what happens when we have a fully fit squad and refs that don’t buy into ur cheats mugs
@SFenney@centristjim1@JacobRo75948609@StokeyyG2 It didn’t used to as different jurisdictions, but it can now be passed over so likely points deduction next season whichever league they’re in
@centristjim1@JacobRo75948609@StokeyyG2 It'll be points deduction in the EFL, so either next season if you don't go up, or for whenever you land back in the championship.
Right okay…
This is a BIG IF but IF Southampton do get done for their ‘spygate scandal’ and actually kicked out the playoffs, do Hull just go to the Premier League or do Boro take their place?
York City Football Club would like to make the following comment regarding one of our players in the aftermath of our last-minute goal at Rochdale.
The ending to Saturday’s game at Rochdale has, understandably, been seen around the world and held up as an example of what is so special about our game. The fans played a huge part in that, and for all those in the stadium, it was a unique emotional rollercoaster that will never be forgotten.
Given that emotion and the stakes involved, we appreciate the enormous challenges that came with policing and securing a game of such obvious importance. In front of a passionate, sell-out crowd, those challenges became even more significant when the game concluded in the way that it did.
The safety of players, staff, officials, and fans must always be the priority, and it is important to recognise all those in the stadium who worked to ensure that was the case.
It will be important in the coming days for there to be a proper reflection and assessment of the circumstances around the end of the game, what happened and what can be learned. As a club, we are committed to assisting with any review, and we will support all our players and staff in contributing to this.
YCFC will be supporting Hiram through all proceedings.

Sammy looks really confident on the ball. Wants it and looks for a positive forward pass
Could be very key next season. He’s been getting a lot of praise from fans and coaches alike
The Scottish Premiership sees four of the top five play each other today.
Here's my favourite angle in each game:
1️⃣ Rangers vs Motherwell
Rangers' last three league results read: 4-1, 4-2 & 6-3, with BTTS landing in eight of their last nine league matches.
Motherwell have seen BTTS land in five of their last six against top half opposition. Their last two away games both ended as 3-1 losses to Hearts and Celtic.
H2H record is also strong. Both teams have scored in seven of the last eight meetings between these sides, I'm backing it again.
2️⃣ Hibs vs Hearts
This writes itself. Cards, cards, and a few more cards.
Even ignoring the derby narrative, Hibs' games are naturally card heavy - with four or more match cards shown in five of the last six.
As for Hearts, they've seen 4+ match cards land in nine of the last 11.
Referee, Don Robertson, flashed seven yellows in his last game and also showed six in February's meeting between Rangers and Hearts. I'm backing 4+ match cards here.
👉 As a recap, that's BTTS in Rangers vs Motherwell & 4+ match cards in Hibs vs Hearts.
You'll get above EVS for the double in most places, and I'll sort some Stats Packs too.
18+, gamble responsibly.
