"They can vote next time". This statement, and the Judge who said this, have entered the history books for ever.

@poeticliessense Even CPIM faded within 5 years. This party of lampposts will evaporate by next Monday. Bengal doesn't switch parties before 15 years so it's BJP rule from now till 2040. Complete cowbeltification inevitable.

Congress has actually done remarkably well this time . Last time they finished with zero seats. This time they're winning 2. Every party except for TMC has bounced back in West Bengal this time. TMC's demise is good for all political parties in Bengal. Everyone voted against TMC
Sohom Banerjee@Sohom03

There is nothing to lose for the Congress in Bengal. Tmc will cease to exist. Congress will gain upwards and onwards. This was anti establishment election. Entire Bengal voted against Trinamool Congress. Not just BJP voters, entire state united to vote Trinamool out.

@Soumitri_Debroy It doesn't matter if Bengalis are willing to 'take it' or not. States have power. Reservations will go north of 70% and Bengali UCs will silently stand there and 'take it', like UCs are doing in Orissa. It will be a beautiful sight when a Bengali UC chaddi gets SC/ST acted.

@Aagan86 Haan toh ? The big problem and the question isnt that people vote for BJP because they hate Muslims The bigger question should be why do they hate Muslims ? And Muslims should work on themselves to improve or correct that about them This is how a civil society functions

@chungusbig9012 @mxtaverse Oh yeah, that too. The best kept secret about Bengal is that the local biomass is pure, unadulterated, unpolished turd. Bhadralok elite kept the lid on for a while. Now that they are gone, the chimp dancing will start.

There is now a double engine govt in West Bengal, Assam and Tripura. Police and BSF are in their control. There are no more excuses remaining. Illegal infiltration along the Bangladesh border must stop.

@Charvaksmriti @Karan_Sempai How is 3 million+ just 1%? Not to mention all these are arrant guesstimates. If anything, Muslim votes should consolidate even harder behind TMC this time.

@_mahdichowdhury I am less worried about 'cultural losses'. Bengal hardly has anything significant left. The last stalwart passed away in 1992. That's 30+ years ago. Bengali Muslims will be declared illegals. Non-Bengali Muslims will start getting lynched in Kolkata's slums.

More than the cultural losses and distortions posed by a saffronized West Bengal, I worry of what will happen to poor Bengali Muslims already prefigured as 'Bangladeshis'—and if this will have further impact on non-Muslim minorities in Bangladesh

@MrSen2006 @_mahdichowdhury Given what's coming up next, this won't actually be a bad thing. Unfortunately there is no way to achieve this in a proper, careful manner.

@KhelaHobePart2 This 6 million 'Under Adjudication' number is so huge, so lopsided and so specifically targeted, that if the election happens excluding them, BJP may hit 150.

@MhaskarChief Income tax department is extremely jumpy these days and is always on the lookout. 2-3 years back I made a mistake in my tax form. I was 500 Rs short in my self assessment tax. ITD sent a tax due notice to me even for that.

@MhaskarChief I know people who have settled outside the country have done it. But if you have any kind of establishment in the country (job/business/property/life), it's a risky thing to do.

I have one simple doubt. If money is lying in your deceased parent's bank account and you have NetBanking details then why can't you just transfer the money to your own account?
InfraStory@marinebharat

RBI must change Legal Heir & Succession Certificate rules. Stupid process and rules. Banks say: Court mein jao, Succession Certificate lao. Doing this process for amount less than ₹5 lakh does not make any sense. In fact, all Bank Accounts must mandatory have a Nominee.

@mxtaverse You have to submit a thing called annual life certificate to continue getting pension. At most, a family can hide it for 1 year. But doing so will jeopardize up every single subsequent sarkari process - bank account closure, nomination execution, property mutation... everything.
