I’m not gonna lie if this was a knights player getting hurt i genuinely would have expected a 2 minute interference. 5 minute would feel like a gift. But I guess I played too much beer league.

Luckily didn't matter for discourse alone... But Iet's have some self awareness here, you're a Knights fan and if the tables were turned I'd imagine would feel differently... Maybe not... But this is always going to get five. Hitting dynamics are completely different a guy doesn't have the puck. This is a reckless play (And you could argue a dirty play) and should be punished harshly. Good on the officials for actually protecting player safety.

@GeorgeKlumpp @realfbllliason @spittinchiclets You might be misunderstanding me. The hit was a penalty. I see you may infer that as the hit isn’t “clean” i’m taking from a severity perspective. The hit did not warrant a major, 5 min penalty.

Now the refs (linesman?) stop the game for an injury on a high stick by Terry on Coghlan. They go and discuss it, and it get wrong. Clearly should have been a VGK PP, instead we play on at 5-on-5. VGK not getting the breaks at all from the officiating tonight.
