@CCVLobo @NHLPlayerSafety I disagree with the reckless and dangerous. If that hit was reckless and dangerous then you need to make any hit along the boards illegal as a player could hit their head on the glass and get hurt. Better yet, take out all checking as someone might get hurt

@NHLPlayerSafety The play was reckless and dangerous causing an injury to the head. The league has made strides in player health and safety. Accountability is warranted.

Vegas’ Brayden McNabb will have a hearing today for interference against Anaheim’s Ryan Poehling.

@NHLPlayerSafety McNabb severely injuring another player? Color me shocked. 🙄 He deserves a rest of the season suspension but he'll probably get off easy for one game suspension and Ducks will be without Poehling for the rest of the post season and maybe some of the next season.

@theb4ron @JesseGranger_ Ty Aaron....good obje time evidence of how quickly things happen. .you can also see that Poehling is looking totally away and didnt see the hit...you have to be aware when your on the boards playing a pu k

@Sparkysparxx54 @NHLPlayerSafety @dostwoll No his skates for sure were off ice. Thats why it was pretty much a charging/interference call. If mcnabb stayed squared with no extra strides. It would’ve been 2min and unfortunate injury.

@VGKnightLife @SinBinVegas Way late and came from a long ways away but still don't thing a suspension is warranted. I think max fine coming

@SinBinVegas Wait and see. The evidence is there. He didn’t take any extra strides. The hit is clean shoulder to shoulder, but a tad late. Can’t control RP’s head hitting the glass.

@MarkBrolund @TheZakuza @SinBinVegas I would disagree..the hit was textbook..yes, a penalty but no intent to injure. Cogs took an elbow to the head dislodging his helmet along the boards. That was a dirtier hit then McNabb. Cogs did a better job of anticipating

@TheZakuza @SinBinVegas Suspension because it was a dirty hit. You can’t just drill players that don’t have the puck into the boards even if it’s shoulder to shoulder. And the is resulted in a pretty serious injury.

@MarkBrolund @TheZakuza @SinBinVegas When your on the boards, even after the puck has left you should expect to get hit. Happens all the time. Hit on Cogs was no different. Just not quite as long after puck was gone

@TheZakuza @SinBinVegas It’s not clean. It’s a penalty. A hit a a player not expecting to get drilled because he doesn’t have the puck. If he is the puck carrier fine it’s a clean hit. But there is a clear rule that says you can’t hit players without the puck no matter if they are shoulder to shoulder

@SinBinVegas I agree but at least they were consistent. No penalties after the first. They let them play. Missed calls everywhere. Cutter got speared. missed calls against ANA too. I’m curious about the Terry high stick. Is that a penalty? What’s the rule? Vegas dman lifted his stick up

Fans in the building let the zebras hear it when they hopped on the ice before OT. Well deserved, both the refs and linesmen have been awful in this game.

@SinBinVegas @0xJolt Even that slash was pretty weak. It was probably only called because of the breakaway and as a bit of a makeup for the major call

@0xJolt It was like after the slash on Marner they decided penalties were not a thing anymore.

@goalienut @SinBinVegas He literally could have stopped pushing the Duck player and simply stood in front of the net and the chances of that shot going in plummet. The Duck players in front of the net was a non-factor save for a lucky rebound

@NevadaCynic @SinBinVegas Coghlans job there is to control the man in front which he did...if he had left him alone to go out to the shooter he would have been all alone for back door tap in and everyone would have bitched about that
