What movie is 10/10, yet hardly anyone has heard of it?

@nimlot26 I find that many YouTubers speak authoritatively on subjects that they are not well versed.

People keep sending me Daniel Owen's video which basically states that DLSS5 is an instagram filter because it uses just one frame and a motion vector. While his questions were valid and he actually got the replies he needed, his lack of basic technical understanding took him to the wrong conclusion. A lot of you have a very hard time understanding the basics of how a frame is rendered in your game and what kind of information is available before postprocessing and straight up went to the idea is that a rendered frame is like the screenshot you saved on your disk. @ado_tan and his friends have some amazing breakdowns about how different games render stuff. I suggest you to dive on his blog and check all of them out. This way maybe you will understand a bit more about how games are rendered. Here you have an article he wrote about how GTA5 renders a frame. I'm sure it will be eye opening for a lot of you. Till you do your research...I'll just go and play Crimson Desert.

@BradChacos The concern over ethics regarding "artistic vision/intent" seems trivial to me when it comes to video games. For example, Cyberpunk was almost unrecognizable on consoles compared to it's PC variant. Also, video games have multiple visual settings that player can enable/disable.

If every American voter, without a passport, decided to get a passport, as their primary form of ID, it would take 5 years to fill the requests. But Republicans want this to be in effect before the midterms. They know this, of course, so it’s obvious voter suppression.

@IanCutress Try as you might, but too many people are infected with the AI mind virus now that no amount of logic or proof can change their minds.

If GTA6 launches as a DLSS5 native title.... it'll still sell 50 million copies half the people will have DLSS5 running most of them won't realise it here's betting most of them enjoy the game and marvel at the next gen graphics

The Amount of people that think that people having an opinion about DLSS 5 are in a "war" of "AI lovers" vs "AI haters" is insane. DLSS 5 is not ready yet. Period. No even mentioning performance, Graphically wise, with the standard mode shown it looks bad in most cases and shows the same "Standard lighting" for every single scenario. NOW, it can evolve into something GOOD if tweaked and controlled to some extent. Remember this is a generative AI "filter" (confirmed by Jensen Huang), so it needs to be well tweaked, otherwise there will be lots of inconsistencies, especially regarding artistic visions, it is GENERATIVE AI after all. @Nadeshot Because computer hardware companies are diverting their focus to AI at the cost of gaming. So now anything "AI" that is good or bad is all bad.

Genuine question, why are people mad about this? I’m really not even trying to be dismissive or sarcastic here. Why in the world would anyone be mad about this?

Anti AI hordes will tell you with a straight face that the image on the left looks better than the image on the right, and we're supposed to pretend that its anything other than seething resentment.

All you guys roasting DLSS 5 like it doesn’t look better/is detracting from art direction are absolutely insane. The lighting and shading improvements are bonkers. If that was shown as a next-gen hardware reveal and not “AI” you guys would be going nuts like the Watch Dogs demo.

@wccftech The gaming crowd sees AI as an existential threat to its existence hence the knee jerk reaction. Some gaming YouTubers are even gaslighting their followers in an effort to sow resentment against the AI complex.
