Should our National Men’s Amateur Championships stop being played or the victories simply asterisked? Just 4 of the top 25 WAGR ranked Englishmen are playing in the English Amateur this year and the same pattern of disinterest is largely evident in the other home nations.

@GolfBible I would have a Monday finish and finance the QTR finalists with their accommodation and travel if their ongoing plans become interrupted. If that is not achievable with Royal Birkdale I would still complete two stroke play rounds & regrettably reduce the matchplay field to 32.
