Ini penyakit langka di mana tumor tumbuh di sumsum tulang belakang, awalnya aku sama sekali tidak bisa memercayainya. Padahal setiap hari aku bernyanyi dan menari dengan penuh semangat tanpa ada masalah apa-apa... tapi aku harus segera dioperasi. Setelah operasi, rasanya benar-benar berat. Mau jalan saja susah, makan juga tidak bisa, mau memegang sesuatu pun tidak sanggup. 'Aku nggak punya alasan untuk berhenti, mungkin ini sudah takdirku,' pikirku saat itu. Tapi, saat melihat anggota AKB48 tampil di program musik tanpa kehadiranku untuk pertama kalinya di TV, aku merasa sangat kuat, 'Aku memang ingin kembali ke sana. Tempatku berjuang ada di sana.' Seringkali orang-orang di sekitarku atau penggemarku bilang 'Melihat AKB48 memberiku semangat. Mendengar lagunya bikin aku semangat', dan saat itu barulah aku benar-benar merasakannya sendiri." ​Sosok teman-temannya yang bersinar di layar TV menjadi energi hidupnya. Kisah pemulihannya setelah itu bahkan membuat staf medis terkejut. ​"Sejak saat itu, tiba-tiba aku jadi sangat bersemangat sampai-sampai dokter di rumah sakit pun kaget. Aku jadi bisa jalan, bisa naik tangga, dan sekitar satu minggu kemudian di kamar rumah sakit aku sudah pulih sampai bisa menarikan lagu AKB48. Sekitar dua tahun sejak saat itu. Aku berjuang keras mati-matian, baik demi junior, demi AKB48, maupun demi para penggemar. Di tengah proses itu, aku memutuskan untuk lulus. Itu karena aku merasa sudah tidak ada lagi hal yang belum kulakukan di AKB48. Semuanya yang dulu kuanggap sebagai junior, seiring berjalannya waktu, sudah menjadi seperti rekan kerja yang saling mendukung dan akrab denganku. Sekarang, aku ingin para junior dan teman-temanku itu yang mengantarkan kelulusanku." Sudah sekitar 2 tahun sejak ia lulus dari grup. Bahkan sekarang setelah menjadi individu, gairahnya terhadap "Idola" di dalam dadanya tidak pernah padam. Kashiwagi menceritakan masa depan yang ia bayangkan dan tekadnya mulai sekarang. ​"Aku sudah berusaha keras sebagai AKB48 selama 17 tahun, lalu lulus. Tapi, mulai sekarang pun aku sama sekali tidak ingin berhenti menjadi idola selamanya. Suatu saat nanti, entah aku menikah atau punya anak, aku ingin terus berkata bahwa aku adalah seorang idola. Mungkin kata 'Masa Kedaluwarsa Idola' masih sering terdengar, tapi selama masih ada satu orang saja yang mendukungku dari lubuk hatinya kalau aku terus menjadi idola entah sampai kapanpun, aku rasa aku adalah seorang idola. Everything was going great for MNL48 because of the efforts of GM Abby, Andi, and Dana. However, after Sulong Con, MNL48 suddenly stopped posting. It seems that Kurosawa started a legal battle against the new management, which forced them to rename MNL48 Inc. to POS Inc. and even attempt to change the MNL48 branding itself. Little did they know that Kuro P still had access to Spotify and Apple Music, which caused the songs and releases to disappear. That was when they realized that Kuro P could still copyright and control everything while the legal battle was ongoing, which eventually led them to give up. 3. It seems that GM Abby's didn't chose to renew her contract earlier this May, which was also the same date she was announced as the GM of MNL48, or she resigned due to the inactivity and the constant criticism calling her a useless manager. However, the real reason appears to be the ongoing legal battle, which prohibited the use of MNL48 social media accounts.
