@NickWestbyNew Exactly... when I was in school in the 80's early 90's every summer was like this. Granted its may but its just a shift in pattern.. The weather doesn't abide by our years calender. The seasons shift and become unpredictable

The UK didn't need AC that's why it doesn't have it. Only in the last 10 years has the UK needed AC. The problem isn't the lack of AC in the UK, it's that suddenly the UK needs AC.

34.8°C in the UK. In May. Warmest spring day ever. Beating the previous record by 2°C. Burning fossil fuels has made this heatwave hotter. True for the UK today, and everywhere else, all of the time.

@Greenpartygirly This cycle would have happened a billion years ago... no humans no fossils fuels just earth's cycle.. Point being if the core heats up, its not because I didn't stop using a reusable shopping bad. It's because the earth is heating up and there ain't anything we can do to stop it

There is literally no reason to not believe in global warming, It’s not up for debate, the science speaks for itself and the facts are facts. This political regression we’re seeing, the rise in climate deniers and billionaire suck ups is killing our beautiful planet

@BladeoftheS Agreed.. Massive problem.. What we should do is charge people for plastic bags. Not cut plastic out comepletly but make money from it. Then make everyone drive electric cars fueled by fossil fuels then drive up energy bills. Thay ought to save the planet

The record temperature for May was broken by an entire 2C today, and tomorrow it is likely to be even warmer. The Met Office has been recording temperatures all around the UK for 173 years. This is not a blip it is a very serious problem.

Fans are watching a real image with their own eyes and then being told to ignore it because a cartoon graphic generated five seconds later says otherwise. Football’s becoming less about the game and more about who can manipulate freeze frames best. If that’s given at the other end against Leeds, I guarantee nobody overturns it. No chance. That’s why supporters feel like the game is being controlled instead of officiated. Spurs got away with one massively today, and Leeds fans have every right to feel robbed.”

I assume that after already giving 14 mins of injury time for no reason, the refs probably thought giving the Spurs penalty was a bit too obvious they wanted them to win
