i use to be in the tire business. one of our customers was a police depart. they ran z rated tires on their vehicles for potential high-speed pursuits. if any of their tires had a puncture the tire was replaced. a puncture changes the structural integrity of a tire. those repairs shown are just barely better than a band aid.

Repairing a nail puncture with a screw is diabolical... but do self-sealing rubber screws really work is the ???
