You talking about sim trading futures or actually equity trading? Depends- earlier in week Im scanning hundred of charts. Usually 7am and I am kind of done by noon. Later in week less scanning. This is real equity trading with real money. If sim traing futures it is 8am until goal or loss limit hit almost always by 11am -- BUT Im just testing the sim futures Im new.

How long on averages you spend in front of the screen for trading? Personally around 1 hour

It sure seems like every online trader is a fraud and that this whole industry needs to burn. The big-name influencers are frauds, the funded trader affiliates are frauds, even the small nobodies are frauds. There is one point that I think is very important to underscore: This dynamic exists because being consistently profitable at trading is THAT hard. Not even to make millions, but to just make $200k/yr consistently. So if you EVER see someone only posting wins or selling a lifestyle or talking about how their followers are all banking…. RUN FOR YOUR FUCKING LIFE! And if you ARE able to make a consistent living trading, even with the ups and downs, know that YOU ARE FAR MORE TALENTED THAN YOU IMAGINE! If you feel inferior but are able to support you and your family by trading, know that you are a FUCKING HERO! Every pro trader I know struggles. Tends to have 1-2 months per year of drawdown. Tends to have a <70% daily win-rate. Yet go ahead, ask Grok to analyze what percent of pnl posts by Patrick Wieland or Matt Coward are wins. The response is all you need to know. 95%+. When you see the funded trader influencers or any trader only posting wins, just know: IT IS ALL AN ILLUSION DUE TO BROKEN INCENTIVES BECAUSE REAL TRADING IS THAT HARD!

Prop firms pay winning traders with losing traders fees. If, in theory, everyone won then no one would get paid regardless of the rules. When you win you are not extracting money out of the market. There is a reason prop firms constantly change the rules. It is to adjust their profitability and to protect themselves.

Don’t 👏🏻 Break 👏🏻 The 👏🏻 prop firms 👏🏻 rules 👏🏻… And you’ll get paid. How hard is that?

@TheH0n3stTrader Are you limiting this to futures prop sim? Real trading has tons and tons of exremely wealthy discretionary traders. Define discretionary.

@austinsilverfx What % if sim prop traders even have the lower PDT requirement? If they are smart, and confident, they will because prop space is not going to be around forever in its present form.

Does the inventable lowering of the PDT rule move retail traders away from prop and back to traditional brokerages?

How can we differentiate those that trade real money verse sim? Can we add a pink check mark to the traders that trade prop futures sim so we can tell the difference?
