Today marks @stamps_miranda’s 3 yr anniversary with @GoodCoShips .
It’s hard to overstate the impact she’s had on this business. Over the last three years, she’s helped guide us through a period of incredible growth, taking on bigger challenges, building stronger teams, and helping turn ambitious ideas into reality.
When you’re growing as quickly as we have, success depends on having people who can bring order to chaos, make tough decisions, and keep moving forward. Miranda has done that time and time again.

Multiple (now) clients told us that in the sales call. They went with us anyway because their operator said we were the best.

At scale the best service businesses have 2 levers (among secondary ones) to focus on: 1. Sales/new clients 2. People A lot of service businesses focus on #1 obsessively and neglect #2. That’s why they churn every client. They have bad people. So they end up being mediocre and can’t grow. The best service businesses are exceptional at training great talent as well as sales. They solve for people. It’s intimidating. Giant head point. Lots of issues, but perfectly doable. You can scale exceptional service and sales at the same time. Four Seasons has 130 properties across 47 countries. They are all amazing and exceptional. They all have great people and bring in plenty of guests. I know a resort is a weird comparison to a growth marketing agency, but at the end of the day they are both service businesses.

Conventional wisdom says split your inventory East and West. The math says you're tying up $250K in working capital you don't have to.

Ended my 360 mile Tesla autopilot streak by getting pulled over. 67 in 55 on Standard.
Tesla actually pulled over immediately.
