The position group that has been the biggest surprise so far: Offensive line. "Jordan (Gross) has done a heck of a job — him and Alex Gerke with that crew. That's one that, obviously, you're replacing some dudes, and so when you put on the film, particularly when pads come on and you see some of the things that we saw yesterday, that was very pleasing."

@UteFanIvan I’ve got great respect for how you conduct yourself. I know it’s probably annoying to hear, but some lady will be super lucky one day

Told someone very important to me how I felt about her a month or so ago. The feelings aren’t reciprocated which is obviously sad. But. I didn’t self-deprecate. Honestly haven’t been able to do that since before my mission. That’s progress imo.

Morgan Scalley announces that Utah will not be holding a spring game this year. He said he wanted the extra practice day for a team coming together. He said there will be a day that fans will get to meet the team and learn who everyone is as a replacement.

Sen. Tommy Tuberville has long been involved in college sports legislation in D.C. Today he introduced a new college sports bill that would set eligibility limits at 5 consecutive years to play 5 consecutive seasons. Athletes could transfer once; additional transfers would require sitting out a year. on3.com/nil/news/senat…

Sen. Tommy Tuberville said he’s discussed pushing the Pass Act through Commerce with Ted Cruz. He's been in touch with the House, and he plans to speak with Sen. Blumenthal on NIL to ensure they're "all on the same page." More from @Pete_Nakos96: on3.com/nil/news/senat…

Exclusive: @CoachForGov introduces ‘Student Athlete Act Of 2026’ aimed at curtailing transfer portal chaos. It give athletes five years to play five seasons, while also penalizing a player 1 year for transferring a second time, he tells @OutKickHotMic outkick.com/sports/tommy-t…

@RobertGC2001 @CoachForGov In some ways yes but I think NIL costs are being driven higher by the fully open market. At some point, probably just gotta bite the bullet and make them employees and collective bargain

@CoachForGov None of that addresses the problem athletic departments are having not going bankrupt. The transfer portal is a separate issue than NIL.

The transfer portal has screwed up college sports. My bill is simple: you get 5 consecutive years to play 5 seasons and you get 1 transfer. After that, if you transfer again, you sit out a year. This will fix 80% of the issues in NIL today.

@GoodSirHamlet @kennardmatt Thanks. Never heard of that before, I will look into it farther. We agree on more than we disagree, we believe Christ will solve our disagreements, on his second coming.

The mad thing is Judaism, Christianity and Islam are effectively different denominations of the same religion They all believe Abraham (Ibrahim for Muslims) was first to make convenant with God. Jews believe the convenant passed through his son Isaac and then Jacob. Christians agree. Muslims believe the convenant line passed through his other son Ishmael (Ismail) Christians believe Jesus Christ was the promised Messiah - and part of God (Holy Trinity). Muslims believe Jesus was a prophet but not divine. Jews don’t recognise him as either (I’m an atheist, so don’t believe any of it)
Operation Heal America@OperHealAmerica

Muslims do not believe that Jesus is God. It’s that simple. Don’t overcomplicate it.

@zakidaadaa @kennardmatt That’s interesting, Zakaria. Latter Day Saints also believe the covenant started with Adam, that was my thought when I read the OP. Of course we differ regarding Jesus, but I respect your beliefs and appreciate finding common ground as well as evaluating differences

@kennardmatt We Muslims believe the covenant started with Adam(see Quran 20:115). And The chosen bloodline is the entire human race. Quran 3:33(Allah has Chosen Adam) Also, Abraham, Moses, Christ and Muhammad, etc.... were men just like me and you. And they must never be worshiped.

@BradWilcoxIFS @mattyglesias @emilyekins @FamStudies MEN do the proposing for marriage. It is young MEN in their twenties, who don't propose marriage. Young men don't want to commit. And when young men finally decide to marry... they look for wives with higher incomes.

I’m curious about the woman-centric framing of all this social con messaging, is it the case that lots of twentysomething women are receiving marriage proposals from eligible men and turning them down? What’s the leverage point here?

@cronair @UtahPuntTeam @Joshua_Newman I'll also just say this lastly: Even though I'm not saying it would be the "program maximizing move", IMO most fans would be more interested in the on-field action of an annual Utah State game than rotating through Wyoming, San Diego St, San Jose State, and *ugh* N. Illinois

On one hand, Utah should never travel to Logan. Never. On the other hand, yes, it should be 3-for-1, not 2-for-1.
