We reached out, and without hesitation, Mr. Peter Bachman responded immediately excited to welcome her on-site and share the incredible opportunities that exist within the turfgrass industry. Moments like these have the power to change the trajectory of a student’s life. They open doors, inspire new possibilities, and demonstrate the strength of an industry that genuinely invests in its future. We are profoundly grateful for professionals like Mr. Bachman, and the countless industry leaders across the country, who have generously given their time, mentorship, and support to our students over the years. The turfgrass industry doesn’t just grow great grass, it grows people, careers, and futures.

As parents, we make sacrifices. My little boy needed me -- to come see where he's been working the last six months. So I took off for a day trip to the mountains. The little red dot in front of the bear is my ball. It was, of course, one of the only fairways I hit all day at North Carolina's No. 1 golf club.

222yds slightly downhill with wind barely pushing from right to left to a pin that is maybe 3 paces on. What club are we hitting friends? 3i teed up high swung as hard as I can for me that splashes 15 yards short and 30 yards left. GCOG is a gem.
