@robj_j @ChrisWo30990144 @CAFCofficial He’s a Wrexham “supporter”, probably only just started watching the game! We weren’t brilliant but we certainly looked the better team for large parts. They had that one bit of quality - it’s why they’ve spent the ££

@elovabloke @GeorgeMurfet_ @CAFCofficial It’s because the shots actually missed the goal when it was easier to score. I think that was the point!
English

@GeorgeMurfet_ @CAFCofficial With only 1 shot on target im not sure how you could be 2 up at half time
English

@MikeFritzell Fair point. I like the approach they’re taking - META news earlier in the week supportive as well. It’s not like we’re in a VHS or Betamax situation.

@Goodenuff1972 It might be, I never saw the full list. This is what I’ve been able to scrape from public websites

The Goldman Sachs list of AI winners & losers:
Supposed winners:
- Cloudflare
- CrowdStrike
- Palo Alto Networks
- Oracle
- Microsoft
- Amazon
- Alphabet
- Nvidia
- TSMC
- Micron
- Arista Networks
- Palantir
- Zoom
- Vertiv
- Eaton
- NextEra Energy
Supposed losers:
- Monday.com
- Salesforce
- DocuSign
- Accenture
- Duolingo
- Workday
- SAP
- Atlassian
- UiPath
- Cognizant
- Gartner
- SAP
- Unity Software
They seem to think that providers of physical hardware and infrastructure will be relative winners. Cyber security companies, too.
Meanwhile, Goldman argues that if AI agents become the primary interface, traditional software becomes commoditised, simple passive data stores. And consulting/IT services names like Accenture will be hurt as AI compresses billable work hours.

@edslater @CAFCofficial The guy is tireless Ed, love his commitment. I also thought Chambers is classy on the ball.

Who was your Player of the Match today, Addicks? 🤔

English

@BenRogoff @jonathangrade Disagree. They had a strong 15 minute spell after HT, as you’d expect with a new manager, but after that it was game management.
English

@jonathangrade Certainly better, three (!) good goals but we were outplayed for most of the second half by 10 men.
English

Just home from Leicester. He’s clearly lost the dressing room! Managed this game so well today. #cafc

@MrDinnage @jack784693 Love it guys, but….please…slow it down a bit!!

@jonathangrade I’m with you JG, I can’t believe some of our base, I really can’t. #cafc

Time to log off for a bit. After NJ has been sacked and we get relegated I hope you’ll all be happy. #cafc

@JohnHawkin71262 @afneil The US should pay us billions for taking OUR land away from us in 1776. See how this works?
English

@afneil The UK should pay the US billions after freeloading for so long.

Do you honestly think America could have liberated Europe without being able to launch D-Day from a UK that had seen off Nazi attempts to invade. Or could have succeeded on D-Day without a British/Commonwealth force bigger than the US contingent. Then there’s the fact the RAF provided the air cover and the Royal Navy most of the invasion armada.
Sigurgeir Sigurgeirsson@SigOSigur
@afneil @Anthony14833972 Do you honestly think that the British would have been able to liberate Denmark without the backing of the United States?
English

@crimp_it @PaulUnderdown1 We were such clowns….but, we were there! Plus we were all at the Full Members match at Selhurst, 871 fans…whatever tomorrow brings, we have a history that not many clubs have.
English

Never forget how far we have come 🔴

@jonathangrade @suthersuk @CAFCofficial @ChelseaFC I recall we had more people in the away that we usually got at “home”, it then turned out a lot of them were fans of other London clubs and all hell broke loose when we equalised! It was proper “80s” style hostility.
English

@suthersuk @CAFCofficial @ChelseaFC That match at Stamford Bridge in 1988 was seriously hostile. So looking forward to tonight- the atmosphere is going to be another level…

I'm fortunate, that for a significant part of my career @CAFCofficial, whether that was during the old First Division era with Lennie Lawrence or the Premier League period with Alan Curbishley, playing matches against the likes of @ChelseaFC was the norm for me - and we didn't have a bad record against them either.
For me though the two most memorable games were when we had to go to their place to avoid defeat, earning a 1-1 draw with a goal from Paul Miller in what became known as the 'Battle of Stamford Bridge,' and then the incredible 4-2 victory at The Valley when Paulo Di Canio and Scott Parker were unplayable!
So I'm looking forward to today's game and, who knows, if we can reproduce the grit and resolve of the 1988 team and the skill and flair of the 2003 side, then we could be in for another memorable match.....
