WHY DON’T OUR MOTHERS HELP US UNDERSTAND PERIMENOPAUSE. WHY DID I HAVE TO DO THIS BY MYSELF? They never told us shit. Nothing. Nothing about the actual role of estrogen in like, every single neurological function. Not the anxiety, or itching or PVC’s and palpitations. Not the histamine reactions, or the pelvic floor issues, or the sore joints occasionally. They didn’t say a word about mood swings or how important progesterone is or what it does or what happens during luteal. THAT ENDS NOW. MY DAUGHTER WILL BE PREPARED, DAMMIT. Ladies, if you have a question I have become an effing encyclopedia of women’s health over the past 3-4 months. Holy shit what a disservice. Hot flashes? Ha! I’d trade 90% of this shit for hot flashes.

Pulisic started this season on fire, he was in track to have the best season of his career and then it all went to sh*t.. 1st half of the season: 15 games, 10 goals and 2 assists 2nd half: 17 games, 1 assist. Hopefully he gets his confidence and form back, I heard the USMNT 🇺🇸 has an important event to attend this summer.

BREAKING: USMNT and AC Milan winger Christian Pulisic is ‘firmly on the radar’ of Manchester United ahead of the summer transfer window, with the club accelerating plans to reshape their attacking options. Pulisic has just 12 months remaining on his current deal and there are currently no active negotiations over an extension following initial talks last year. Rafael Leao has been offered to United. However, insiders now suggest his AC Milan teammate Christian Pulisic is viewed as a potentially better fit for the club’s needs. Pulisic’s versatility is a major attraction. The 27-year-old has operated across the front line this season and has even been deployed as a false nine, underlining his tactical intelligence and adaptability in attacking roles. [TEAMTalk]

@holisticbaddie They think/thought shaving made your hair come back in thicker so maybe that’s why? My mom was horrified when I told her I micro plane my face but I assured her I’ve been doing it for years and the hair hasn’t gotten thicker lol

AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri on Christian Pulisic's struggles 🎙️ "He's a very sensitive guy, the fact that he doesn't score affects him more. He's a player who gets into tackles and struggles more, he suffers more from this. I have to try to give the team balance, playing without a true centre forward, he struggles more."

@usmntonly The team was better when Pulisic didn't have to play with Leao. But then Pulisic got hurt. And Allegri can't not play Leao. They have to deal one of them at some point.

@Paul_Campbell6 @usmntonly What you said is all true but it doesn’t change the fact that Pulisic is definitely sensitive. He doesn’t throw fits like Leao but you can see it in his body language. He looks dejected instead of pissed. Sometimes I wish he’d get pissed lol

Sensitive? He is the guy, Milan's dedicated PK-taker, that his teammates took the ball out of his hands during the game a few times, against the coach's direction, and he still kept scoring with efficiency while everyone talked about the vaunted world class left side of Leao and Hernandez Sensitive? Leao misses Pulisic's runs consistently but makes himself a public spectacle when he feels that Pulisic didn't put him through when he should have. Leao has to be constanly reminded that he is considered the star of the team and world class

I hate that the pic is of a woman eating a donut. I’m 10 lbs overweight and I can’t loose it bc I’m eating things like fruit or chicken lol. If you’re short and over a certain age it’s not the donuts getting you, it’s an extra serving of rice or a single slice of bread
Rob and Avis Ramble@rob_avis_ramble

Avis here with something on my mind I want to share for you other wives out there to think about. Yesterday I was talking with a younger friend of mine who is in her late 30s about fitness and checking in on her. What she said floored me. She said, “I’m just gonna be fat.” She’s in a long-term marriage, a SAHM with two kids, and has been gaining weight since having kids. Now she weighs more than she did even when pregnant. We developed a plan together 6 months ago to help her improve her fitness and lose weight. We looked at all her “roadblocks” and worked through them. Her husband supports her with resources, and she said, “I’m just gonna be fat.” This is unacceptable and inexcusable. Why is this the attitude your husband deserves when he provides you with the resources? How would she feel if he said, “I’m just gonna be broke and homeless”? She is an amazing mom, but she’s lost the plot of marriage. And why? Because changing habits takes effort. It’s not hard, but it requires change and being a little uncomfortable. But I imagine going to bed at night knowing her husband has given her resources and suggestions on ways to improve, yet she just wants to be fat, is also uncomfortable. ~A

Why do people always walk up to married couples and say, “You’ll get sick of each other soon enough”? I’ve been with my husband for decades, and I can’t get enough of him. He’s my favorite person to be with. If I go somewhere alone, I think about how much better it would be if he were with me. I don’t even like it when he goes to work for an hour. I wish he were home with me every day. It just gets better every year. I think people need to stop projecting their failed relationships onto others. maybe you’re the ones doing relationships wrong to begin with.

I didnt think I would have children. I didnt think it was possible. When I finally did, 10 years after all my friends, I was so happy. It was HUGE. One day when my son was around 2, my friend asked me when I was going to return to work. Told me I needed "something for myself" and that I was more than "just" a mum. I found this incredibly offensive. I still do. Since becoming a mother I discovered my true self. Alongside learning to be a mother, I learned to cook, bake, and grow food. I learned to crochet, found joy in reading again, learned to manage a home and even how to homeschool. I was infuriated that in her eyes, none of that counts. She actually laughed at me for enjoying gardening. It was maddening that my newly found hobbies were not good enough. That day made it clear that society (and her) will never see me as valuable until I am back working for big corp. Its been a strained friendship ever since. She doesnt understand or appreciate who I am. She thinks I am weird for wanting fresh food and enjoying caring for my family instead of going to work. Stop defining success by things you do outside the home, you are missing your biggest achievements. There is so much to be proud of. There is so much joy to be found in the 'mundane'. Its so freeing to live life for yourself instead of a boss. If this isnt "something for myself" then how could a crappy office job meet that definition???
Jessica O’Donnell 🏈@heckyessica

“Just a mother” is the problem. We are defining success according to incorrect terms. Being a good mom is huge

It took a ridiculous amount of cultural conditioning to convince people that coffee is “fake energy” and feeling good on it isn’t real. While their actual baseline is low energy, cold, unfocused, running on stress hormones etc and that’s supposed to be natural. You’re not natural. You’re ADAPTED to an EVIL environment. Coffee pushes you closer to what your metabolism is supposed to be doing in an ideal environment, when it has enough fuel and support and hasn’t gone through 72 vaccinations, SSRIs, birth control and a history of seed oils and petrochemicals. Feeling warm, clear headed, motivated, calm but alert is literally the baseline in an ideal environment. Not “stimulation” For me, that’s coffee with a lot of milk, a lot of honey (lighter and raw ones are my favourite and local ones always taste best somehow) plus ~10g glycine, ~1g L-theanine and a tiny pinch of salt Rocket fuel but it’s just your body functioning the way it was designed to before your evil environment decided to turn you into a subhuman What’s your go to coffee mixture?

I truly don't worry about his form because he'll come around, one way or another. But there is something else I am really worried about, and it's something I mentioned a couple of days ago. Regardless of his form individually, I am very worried how the USMNT has been playing with him on the field (all the "intensity" issues seem to show up then, etc.) both before and after the unbeaten streak, and how different (better) the USMNT has looked without him (i.e. the 5 match unbeaten streak). Again, nothing to do with his individual form but everything to do with how the USMNT plays with him and without him. It's hard not to see and say that something is going on there, what it is I don't know.

Cobi is right. Pulisic has always been a streaky player. If he can score some goals for Milan in April-May his confidence will skyrocket in time for the WC. This is the issue with Pulisic. When things are good, he's incredible, everything comes off for him. When it's bad, it's really bad.
GOLZ@golz_tv

“I'm not too concerned about that right now.” USMNT legend Cobi Jones was asked about Christian Pulisic’s form in 2026. He still doesn’t have any goals yet and only one assist this year. “It's a slump. You know, it happens in every sport,” Jones said on First Things First. “We talk about it in a variety of different ways. But you know, for me, it's about, can Christian Pulisic get ready at the right time? So I'm not too concerned about this.” “In these next series of games that are upcoming, can he be a little bit more precise? He even mentioned it.” “Can he be more sharp in front of goal? Also, in these games, it's all about the timing, you know.” “And I think Pulisic has those special capabilities. I'm not too concerned about that right now because as we kind of mentioned, to score goals, you have to have the right people around you, and you have to be in the right positions.” “He was being experimented with on the left, in the center, you know, I think they've got to just figure out his best position, where he could be the most dangerous.” “I think he likes to come in off of that wing and cut inside and have a go. I think that's probably the best position for him.” Do you agree with Jones? Will Pulisic show up at the right time for the USMNT? 👀 The last time he scored for his country was in November 2024.

I think a lot of women struggle mentally when they live with a man because home stops feeling like a place to relax. Instead of being a space where you can fully be yourself, it becomes another place where you still have to “perform” and be put together all the time. There’s no break, no space to just be messy, tired, or off.
