I was at a pharmacy trying to buy just paracetamol and leave quickly because I wasn’t feeling too well.
The pharmacist handed me the medicine and said, “That will be ₦500.”
I was about to pay when a woman beside me suddenly said, “Don’t buy that one, it’s too weak for your symptoms.”
I looked at her because I didn’t even know her.
She continued confidently, like she had been part of my medical history for years, and started recommending another drug.
The pharmacist paused and asked if she was a nurse.
She said no.
Then she added, “But I get experience. I dey always take care of my family.”
At this point, she had already started rearranging the counter like she worked there.
I just stood there watching my simple headache turn into a full medical consultation I didn’t book.
Eventually, I told the pharmacist I would just take the original medicine.
The woman looked at me and said, “Okay, but if it doesn’t work, don’t come back and say nobody warned you.”

Opeyemi Famakin just touched down in Tanzania and told a female airport attendant “ikweji” that Juma Jux said in his song, thinking it meant something sweet, until one guy angrily confronted him and said, “She’s married!”
Someone in the comments then translated it to mean “Are you down for the night?” 💀 😭

@CrownedTreasure He sent the quotation an hour ago, but I told him it was no longer needed since the job had already been given to one of the four people who submitted earlier. And funny enough, his price was almost double theirs.

We submitted a proposal to an international NGO about two months ago, and thankfully, we got the contract.
I reached out to five of my friends to send in their quotations. Within two hours, four of them delivered. The 5th person, who often complains that I don’t give him opportunities didn’t respond.
I followed up around 6pm to ask why, His response? “Anybody wey go give you a cost for this kind job under 6 hours just cook up values for you.” despite me clearly stating it was urgent.
Honestly, the response was surprising. Here’s our conversation.

During our evangelism outreach today, the Holy Ghost moved powerfully among these students. As the gospel was preached, about 80 of them were baptized in the Holy Ghost and spoke in tongues for the first time. All glory to Jesus.
